What Purupuru Maker Does

Purupuru Maker is a free browser-based tool for turning a still image into a looping wobble animation. Open a PNG, JPG or WebP, paint the part that should move, choose a motion style and export the result as a GIF or video. No account is required to use the editor.

The word purupuru (ぷるぷる) describes the soft trembling motion of jelly, pudding and other springy things in Japanese. The editor is designed to make that motion approachable for illustrators, pet owners, meme makers and small shops without requiring keyframes or specialist animation software.

Why We Built It

Most animation tools begin with a timeline, layers and unfamiliar terminology. That is useful for complex work, but excessive when someone simply wants to make a character's hair sway, a cat's belly jiggle or a product photo bounce.

Purupuru Maker reduces that job to one visual decision: paint the area that should move. The motion controls remain optional and understandable, so a first result takes seconds while careful users can still tune strength, speed, direction and export length.

How the Editor Works

The editor uses WebGL to deform only the region covered by the motion mask. The preview, mask and export are created by your browser. Images opened in the editor are not uploaded to Purupuru Maker's servers, and the finished file is saved directly to your device.

This local-processing design is both a privacy choice and a product choice: it removes upload queues, avoids watermarks and lets every brushstroke update the preview immediately. Browser and device limitations are explained honestly in our guides instead of being hidden behind a sign-up flow.
